Link to favorite article from the week

The link to the article I am sharing today is not exactly my favorite but is about one of my favorite book series and lead to about most discussion this week.

My best friend (Henceforth referred to as B, 1st letter of her nickname) and I (Henceforth referred to as T, 1st letter of my nickname) are great fans of the Hunger Games Series since its release.

After completing all the books and watching the movies together (each of which lead to endless discussions) we had been quite excitedly waiting for its prequel

“The Ballads of Songbirds and Snakes”

Yesterday we came across to this article which ignited our discussion:

B: Hmm from Snow’s perspective, this can be new, not interested?
T: Not really, Snow is good as a villain but not interesting enough for a backstory
B: This can be like Voldemort’s POV style story?
T: Voldemort’s life story is much interesting than that of Harry, would prefer that, but not Snow. Could have been better if it was about Coin’s backstory
B: Agreed, Coin is much interesting or also Haymitch too!

Ultimately we concluded that a prequel featuring combined Coin and Haymitch’s story would have been much interesting than Snow’s.

For now the excitement to the prequel has died down for us, cause Snow as a villain is good, the information provided about him in the books are also enough but he isn’t interesting character as of alone to lead a book for us.

Also the other prequel we are waiting for “House of Dragons” the GOT sequel, hope to hear exciting news regarding it soon!

And in case The Hunger Games trilogy is not known to you, I would suggest go for the book rather than the movie its 2000 times better!

“May the odds be ever in your favor!”
