Relaxing After A Long Day
Strangely this had been the week when I was not feeling relaxing/my best self till now. I had been kept delaying to write about this post till I felt better, but then thought what’s the best time to post about relaxing (when I am actually stressed) if not now.
The following things really helped me pick my mood up this week!
Unplugging:
I think majority agrees that unplugging from the digital life for a couple of hours gives immediate healing. As I am not habitually checking Social Media or mindless videos or constant chatting, keeping the phone down helps me a lot.
Picking up on hold projects:
As I now have a lot of time to focus on other things, I pick up on hold books or crafts I have been thinking of doing for a long time. This is the best time for me to focus on them and in most cases I end up with pretty craft-works or binge reading.
Citrus Smell:
Citrus smelling products are undoubtedly my favorites. I either pour Apple cinnamon on reed sticks or lemon room freshening tubs. A clean and nice smelling room immediately makes up a good vibed environment.
Radio Songs:
Avoiding my regular playlist I turn on the radio (I
prefer using Gaana app than Spotify) and listen them to. A mix of old and new
songs are great when you want to relax.
A Warm Cup of Tea:
Ending the day with a warm cup of liquor tea (my go to drink) is the best de-stressing method for me. My favorite cup, and the aroma of freshly made tea and I already feel a whole lot better.
While writing this post I already feel a lot better. Have a nice week everyone!
