Book Review

I recently completed reading these two books

“Newcomer”-----  Keigo Higashino            “Forget My Name”----- J.S.Monroe

But it seems like, like drama trouble I am also going through book trouble, can’t find one that I like (Exception: My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, thank you for being a really good drama)

I may have mentioned I really like watching and reading thrillers/mystery and both of the synopsis of these books instantly attracted me.

  • “Newcomer”-----  Keigo Higashino

I am a great great great fan of Keigo Higashino, I have read almost all his books (that have been translated to English) and Malice being by top favorite, but in case of this book, I didn’t like it much. The plot after a while lost its flow and reading stories about each shop and their involvement with the case became repeating.

In any case I have always been a fan of Keigo Higashino, and this one book doesn’t impact it much, will excitedly look forward to his next work.

  •     “Forget My Name”----- J.S.Monroe

This book though had a really attractive synopsis but was a huge disappointment. The starting and the ending were still bearable but in between whatever happened made little sense, the characters neither relatable nor understandable and too many unnecessary back stories and background stories, also the finale ended in a minute it seemed.

Would not be recommending this book to anyone.

Would comeback with a more happier and positive book review with good book recommendations! 😝 😃
