Plot:
Baek Hee Sung
seems like the ideal husband. Working as a craftsman, his hard work allowed his
metal-working studio to meet with its fair share of success. Able to provide a
good life for his wife and daughter, he’s a good example of what a husband
should be. But this perfect façade hides some very dark secrets that even his
wife, Cha Ji Won remains unaware of. Unfortunately, secrets have a way of coming out and as a hard-hitting homicide detective, it’s Cha Ji Won’s job to uncover as many of them as she can, in her never-ending quest for the truth. While investigating a particularly cruel case, she finds herself on a dark path that could crumble the very foundations of her happy life. But she is determined to bring this psychopath to justice. The intriguing concept, how much do we actually know about
the people around us. |
Baek Hee Song (Do Hyun Su)’s gaps in character. Sometimes
he is portrayed as a very sly and clever individual, sometimes he is
sociopath and other times he is the most innocent and warm hearted person. For me I cannot get the factor that connects
all of this personality together, neither it’s clear which is his real
character. |

The thrill and mystery in the initial episodes. The chase,
the scuffles the action got my attention immediately. |
Initially I thought that Cha Ji Won and Baek Hee Song would
make an ultimate team solving this mystery together, I even rooted for it.
But mostly they worked in separate groups, so that “team goals/couple goals”
bond was not there for me. |

Lee Joon Gi’s acting, the way he portrays each and every
emotion, controlling his screen presence is a major reason for giving this
show a try |
Cha Ji Won’s character. Being shown as a person who loves
her husband unconditionally, she sure has lot of mistrust towards him.
Initially it was understandable, but even later she just keeps collecting evidence
by herself and cornering him for an answer. Given the amount of love and
trust she is supposed to have for her husband she surely never asks him for
an answer before reaching conclusions on her own. |

Kim Moo Jin’s character; he was the most refreshing and realistic
personality among the whole cast for me. Placing a different perspective to
the concept of friend he is hands down my favorite. |
Do Hae Su’s character is seriously underrated. Being a
sister who took responsibility and care of her brother from a young age, she
showed utmost bravery when the situation arises. |
[Spoiler Alert]
↬The antagonist
being a person who was in a coma for 15 years, surely got all up and moving
around perfectly in almost a week and has gained back the strength to tussle
with fully capable and grown adults?
↬Was bringing in
one of the major drama tropes (part of the worst drama tropes) a good way to
bring end to this series? It started with a new concept and ended with one of
the most known storyline. Quite disappointed with the ending.
