Top 10 TV Series of All Time
[Credit: https://myanimelist.net/] |
TV Series and Movies as I have mentioned earlier also that it’s a really broad topic for me. It’s a compilation of different genres, ranges and languages in both cases!
As previously I have done post regarding my favorite Asian Dramas of the past half a decade also you can check my HIT LIST (for more recommendations), for today I will talk about my Top 10 Anime Series of all time (I watched majority of them on TV channel).
Animes were the major base of my childhood and growing up I still enjoy them, this post is a dedication to those Animes who will forever remain in my heart.

Kaichou Wa Maid Sama
I am not exactly sure how I found this drama or when actually I watched it, as far as I remember at that time I was neither tech savvy nor used to internet browsing to get to watch a series. As far as my memory goes, I had watched the 1st episode on Animax (TV channel) and I really liked it, but from next day our Local Cable Operator removed the Channel from the package. So I have really no recollection how I found this drama online to watch.
But till now this Anime is my most re-watched one (I still watch it) to the point I ended up reading the last two chapters of the manga to complete the series. (This being the only Anime whose manga I have read)
This is my most absolute favorite series, and I have Usui-Misaki’s Pictures on various portions of my room. Also my sister gifted me a cup with Usui-Misaki’s picture on it on my birthday and I love it so so much
Code Geass (R1 and R2)
Next on the list is definitely Code Geass on of the most legendary Anime I have ever watched. A perfectly well knotted plot with the most amazing characters ever, well thought out strategy and exciting action sequences, there is no part of it I cannot find a fault in.
I had a whole roller coaster experience while watching this show and Lelouch though being an anti-hero I could not stop liking, hating, respecting, getting emotional and ultimately a whole lot of crying for him.
And keeping Lelouch aside,
this Anime could have been a bit more targeted towards male audience but had
the most well rounded awesome female characters ever. I really love this aspect
of this drama.
Just a week back
I completed watching this series for the third time while forcing B to watch it
(she loved it, I am so glad). Also Lelouch and CC is the ultimate OTP for me,
and I have their pictures in the room too!
Cardcaptor Sakura
Is there an Anime fan who has not watched/heard of this anime? This epic anime was one of those series I watched while growing up, and be it’s fantasy factor or the characters or the simple sibling/friendship bonds combining them all was a drama very near and dear to my heart. It was and still is the base of the various other storylines my sister and I created further.
P S their picture is also in my room!
Detective School Q
If I had to choose one Asian drama thriller which tops my list it would be Signal undoubtedly and the series that tops that is Detective School Q for me.
Never have I ever watched a more thrilling series which can top this.
I had watched this drama way back in my school years some 14-15 years ago but its cases I still remember vividly. It was scary to watch then and still now, that’s what makes it a really good thriller series.
Ouran High School Host Club
A perfect example of how weird and hilarious an Anime can get will be this series. A typical setup of reverse harem full of unbelievable situations and it gets funnier by the minute. Keeping fun factor aside it’s also a sweet story about friendship bonds with romance sprinkled here and there.
Special Mention to Tamaki Senpai whose meme I use whenever I get sulky!

Get Backers
Truthfully I
have watched this drama soooo way back I don’t remember much details about it
except this was the coolest series ever. No one tops Ban Mido
for the ultimate stylish and coolest character for me and his power “Evil Eye”
and his glasses gets more votes.
[Disclaimer: I do not support or promote smoking]
The bonding between Ban and Ginji and their goofy personalities which switched up the moment a situation arrised is what I loved the most!
P S Ban’s “Had a nice dream” moment still gives me butterflies!
La Corda d’orro: Primo Passo
The only musical
based series (combing other TV series, animes, dramas) I have watched and it of
course on my Top 10, it has the factors of reverse harem and tsundere leads and
in the heart of the series is a wonderful love story. The female protagonist
had good chemistry with all the other “possible leads” but the one with Len
was the ultimate for me.
Also the songs
and music and instruments used in the series all I had heard for almost the
first time and were soo soothing. This Musical sequence and their OST are my
favorite. I still have the OST on my playlist. (for other songs on my playlist
you can check )
Ultra-Maniac
Following the
name it was a drama no less than for a maniac, a various bizarre scenarios had
been created all throughout the drama and I am very much grateful for that! All
those incidents made the drama an ultimate watch and more fun (also gave us
ideas to do the in our stories). The series was fantasy based and had ultimate
BFF goals. Loved watching as Nina-Ayu’s friendship grew
together.
UFO Baby
Another perfect
example of how weird Anime stories can get but still be ultimately the sweetest
and fluffiest drama should be this one. Imagining how a dumpling should taste
like while watching Baumiao eat them to the time Ruu said “I am home”.
And shout out to
Mikan who both my sister and I relate to the most #goals.
K-ON
This one I have
watched only recently (some 7-8 years back) and is exactly what I had wanted to
watch at that time. I had wanted some recommendations on friendship, light
hearted, feel good drama and this one defines every one of them.
For my sister
and I relate to Yui-Ui so much, we use
their memes and picture on regular basis while communicating.
And B and I
relate to Ritsu-Mio vibe the most.
I have their
pictures all over the room too; also my wallpaper is of Yui and Ui!
Special Mention
The first Anime we had watched.
There is no one from our generation who doesn’t know of this, it was revolutionary.
This one also I had watched even further back and had liked it then but currently again on fangirling mode cause Satoh Takeru.
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? (Season 1):
My ultimate favorite Indian Television Series.
Fawad was a plus in this show but my love is dedicated towards Kashaf
Were you a fan or still love Animes?
